This time I wasn't sure about cutting Heather's hair, so I'm still sitting on the fence about that. Perhaps I will shorten it a little and figure out a way to style it into a Faux Bob in some way.
Heather (Little Rabbit) looked cute enough in her rabbit outfit, but it was not what I wanted for this girl, (or any of my Monst Joint Dolls for that matter) . . . so here she is in all her finery.
Once again Vicky provided me with the base cloche and I decorated it to match her pretty rose printed cream dress.
I really like this shot of Heather showing her tiny turned up nose and sidewards glancing eyes.
She is such a cutie! The green and pink in the fabric bring out her eyes and hair to perfection! I bet that braids poking down out of the hat would look adorable. Is braiding dolls' hair doable?
ReplyDeleteThanks Jodi, I have a feeling she is going to be a favourite. I agree the fabric was a good choice for her and I am happy with the way it all turned out.
DeleteYes braids are doable, but I think I want to research 1920's hairstyles a little more before I decide what to do with hers.
She's all grown-up now! Not a cute bunny, but an elegant young lady :)
ReplyDeleteOh yes Chiriann, very grown up. This is my favourite outfit so far. 😘
DeleteI love the hat (and the dress).
ReplyDeleteThanks Mia, Vicki does a great job of the crocheting and I couldn't have completed this outfit without her help (I can't crochet very well).
DeleteI think this one is my favourite. She looks very sophisticated in this outfit.
ReplyDeleteMine too, I really like how this one turned out.
DeleteLovely doll. I really like the hats you create for dolls 💗
