Gotz

Marianne and Franz Götz founded the Götz Puppenfabrik in Mönchröden in 1950. Their first dolls were made of papermache and femily members helped to make them.

In 1964 they become the founder of artist doll reproduction, when they manufacture the first reproductions of original artist dolls by Sasha Morgenthaler, This is followed by their reproduction of Carin Lossnitzer and Sylvia Natterer dolls in 1989 when their artist reproductions achieved worldwide recognition.

The corporate management was assigned to the 2nd generation of the Götz Family Anke Götz-Beyer and Uwe Beyer in 1999. 

Hannah`s world of play was born in 2004 which enabled creative play and supported individual development of cognitive abilities. Many more dolls were to follow and some of them can be seen below.

In 2010 their anniversary year, the Götz Puppen manufaktur looks back at 60 years of doll passion, and it is noted as one of the most traditional family owned doll companies.
