Katy Keen

In 2015 Integrity Toys secured licensing for and developed a collection of dolls based on the Archie Comic character Katy Keene. Vaughn Sawyer was lead designer for this collection of three beautiful and elegantly dressed models . . . Katy, Lucki Red Lorelei and Gloria Grandbuilt.

Because the cartoon enjoyed a resurgence in the 80’s the designers felt they wanted an 80’s inspired gown for Katy, so a further Katy was released along with a wardrobe of clothes a little later.

I only managed to procure one, but she is gorgeous. She is "Blue Serenade", with a Darby Kenner (Rapture) head sculpt. Katy has applied lashes, black hair with the FR white skin tone, and the Colour Infusion (Jem) body with high heeled foot. She was release in July, 2015 as an edition of 500. Item Number: 14071.

IN MY STORY SHE IS: Kate, a jazz singer appearing nightly at the well known White Panther Jazz Club. She is the girlfriend of Miles Morgan.
