The East 59th collection promised to take us back in time to chic and swanky 1950’s New York, where the bold personalities of the talented individuals involved in the modelling, advertising and PR scene clashed for a bigger share of the marketing pie.
I own two from this series of dolls, the first is "Midnight Glimmer" from the Fashion Fairytale Collection. She has an Evelyn Weaverton head sculpt, blonde hair and cream skin. She has an East 59th 1.0 body with the high heeled foot. She was released as an IT Convention Exclusive in an edition of 415 in 2019. Item Number: 73007.
IN MY STORY SHE IS: Eve is a fashion executive, working at New York's branch of Fleur & Ruben Maison de Couture. She began working here on the floor, but soon made a good impression on the owner. It didn't take very long for her to work her way to the top.
The second doll I have is "Lunch at 21" a Victoire Roux dressed doll. She has raven hair and a Japan skin tone. Her head sculpt is Victoire 2.00 and the body once again, is a high heeled East 59th version. She was also released during 2019 in an edition of 500. Item Number: 73018.
IN MY STORY SHE IS: Vicky is one of New York's well known runway models, who regularly features on the cover of fashion magazines and a close friend of Eve and Katy.
